...Additionally, ALL Contractors' and Subcontractors' staff must be accredited to the Energy and Utility Skills (E.U.S.) Basic Electrical Safety Competence Database after December 31st 2006...  

Training and assessment can be provided at a number of accredited centres, information is available on the E.U.S. website. 

All costs associated with the training shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. 

Any costs associated with obtaining 3rd Party Safety Rules training (eg Distribution Network Operator[DNO], power station etc) shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. 

The Principal Contractor will need to ensure the validity of all site personnel (direct or subcontract) Employer authorisations prior to site attendance…
