You must demonstrate that you can:
1. Enter/Exit
a site in a safe and controlled
manner.
2.
Enter/Exit the Designated Work Area (DWA)
included in your authorisation
in a safe and controlled manner.
3. Identify the apparatus, plant and
equipment and the precautions
that are required to control the risks associated with the
hazards of the site
4. Identify who is in control of all
of the tasks to be carried out in the UGC DWA
5. Comply with the instructions to use
Safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
6. Carry out
the given tasks safely and in
accordance with the requirements of
safety rules, relevant codes of procedure and work instructions.
7. Identify
and recognise the risks associated with damaged UGCs and the risks
associated with excavation
8. Maintain
the site safety demarcation
arrangements and comply with them.
9. Maintain the general safe
condition of the site at all times.
10. Leave the site safe for
others including the general public.
